Ingredients :
                                  1. 300 gm okra or bhindi
                      2. 2 tablespoon gram flour or besan
                      3. 1 tablespoon rice flour
                     4. 1/2 teaspoon dry mango powder
                     5. 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
                     6. 1 teaspoon posto or poppy seeds 
                               7.  1 pinch of asafoetida (hing)(optional)

                    8. 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
                    9. 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
                  10. salt to taste or 1 teaspoon
                  11. oil to fry

Method :

Step 1 : Wash the bhindi properly & wipe them dry with a cloth.Now at first cut the both ends of the bhindi with the help of knife.Then slice it from the middle into two pieces.Again slice it into two pieces and take out all the seeds of the bhindi with the help of your two fingers.Then slice it like jullien or finely.


  Step 3 :  Take a bowl and mix all the ingredients into thinly sliced bhindi, & mix it well.Take a kadai and heat oil to fry.When the oil heats up fry the bhindis and fry them golden from both sides.Take them out and place them on a tissue paper.Here our hot and crispy tasty kurkuri bhindi or crispy okra ready serve it with hot coffee or any dishes…

{ Important Note :The oil should be hot enough to fry the bhindi,otherwise bhindi will become soggy.Mustard oil is better for frying the bhindi.}
