CUCUMBER BOONDI RAITA / KHEERA RAITA / DAHI RAITA WITH TADKA WITH VIDEO
Cucumber boondi raita is a kind of dish that we all want at the end of our meal to please our taste buds.The way I prepared it is like no other.This special cucumber raita is enriched with a simple but tempting tadka that will leave you wanting for more. It goes perfect with biryani or any kind of spicy dishes. Its a must try,lets learn how to prepare this simple delicious raita.

1. 2 cups of curd or yogurt ( 250 gm )
2. 2 medium size cucumber
3. some fresh coriander leaves
4. 2 tablespoon sugar
5. 1/2 teaspoon black salt
6. 1/2 teaspoon normal salt
7. 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
8. 1/2 teaspoon black mustard seeds
9. 1 tablespoon oil
10. 2 dry red chillies
11. some curry leaves
12. some boondi ( optional)
Peel the cucumber and grate them well.Make sure that we don’t need the core portion of cucumber.Add 1/2 cup of water in the yogurt and whisk the curd well for a minute.
Take a tadka bowl and dry roast the chillies and cumin seeds.Grind it,make a powdered masala.Now Mix all the ingredients except oil,mustard seeds and curry leaves.
To give extra taste this raita, take that tadka bowl and give oil.After heating the oil add mustard seeds and curry leaves and fry little.Give it into the raita.Mix it properly.Ready our special cucumber raita tadka with a twist.Garnish it with some coriander leaves.
