This super quick,delicious & famous Bengali dish Aloo Posto or Potato with Poppy Seeds Gravy is very rich in taste and will surely please your palate in this winter.I have prepared the dish in authentic bengali style within 15 minutes. It goes perfect with hot Jeera Rice or paratha at your lunch or dinner time..So, let’s see how to make this mouth-watering quick and super tasty curry recipe….

Step 1 :- At first take some mustard oil in a pan and leave it for heating. Then add Panch foron and one slit green chilli in the oil the hot oil and saute for a few seconds. Next add the potato cubes into it and fry till it turn golden brown.
Step 2 :- While the potato is getting fried, make a fine paste of the Posto/ Poppy Seeds in the mixer grinder. When the potatoes get fried completely add a pinch of turmeric powder and some salt to taste. Then add 3-4 slit green chillies.
Step 3 :- Now, add the fine paste of Posto into it.Then mix them well for 3-4 minutes. Then take some water in the mixer container where Posto was pasted, stir it well and add the water in the mixture for a nice gravy. If u want dry Aloo Posto you can skip the step. Then cover the pan with lid and cook it for 6-7 minutes in medium/low flame.
Open the lid and check the aloo.To make our dish more tasty spread some raw mustard oil over it and mix.So, here our super tasty and delicious Aloo Posto is Ready.Enjoy the dish.
