1. 1 Cup Jaggery (Gud)
2. 250 gm. Wheat Flour (Atta)
3. 125 gm. Rice Flour
4. Little Salt
5. Milk as required
6. Grated Coconut
7. Crushed Black Cardamom Seeds
8. Oil to Fry
: Method :
* Take a large bowl and mix milk in small quantities to the jaggery. Here we have used fresh dates jaggery. When the mixing is done, add wheat flour in two halves and then rice flour in two halves. Mix all the things. Then add little salt to balance the taste and then some grated coconut to bring that amazing taste to pitha. Continue mixing all the things to make a semi-thick batter.
* While mixing leave oil in a pan to fry the pithas. While mixing the batter if it turns dry add more milk to make the mixing process easy. Now when the batter is ready & the oil is heated, take a deep spoon and fill that spoon with the batter. Now release the batter on the heated oil from a little height. Leave it as it is for few seconds and then splatter oil over to make it puffy. Fry all the pithas like this way till they are golden & crispy. When done take them out on a tissue paper.
