Potato cutlet is a familiar snacks to us. But preparing it can be a bit innovative. I have tried some new twists in making this super crispy cutlet which is far better than the ones that we get outside. Try it at home and share your feedback with me. At first dry roast some red chillies and peanuts in a pan. Now take a large bowl and crush four boiled potatoes and then add the dry roasted red chillies(by crusing) and peanuts, roasted cumin powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder, salt to taste, rice flour(for crunchiness) and some chaat masala and mix all the things together.
Now comes the twist. Now we are going to fry this mixture. In a pan heat some oil and then add cumin seeds, hing, grated garlic and grated ginger, chopped onion and fry all the things for a while. Now add the potato mixture and saute with the masalas for few minutes. Add chopped coriander leaves in the end and take it out on a platter.
Now take generous portions of the mixture and give them oval shape of cutlet. You can shape them as you like. Now at first dip the cutlets in cornflour mixture and then coat them with bread crumb. Make sure that all the cutlets are well coated. Prepare all the cutlets in the same way.
Now take sufficient oil in a pan and fry all the cutlets in it till they are golden. When well fried serve it with some onion rings, green chillies and some tomato ketchup.
Here our super crispy and tasty Potato Cutlet is ready to serve hot.
