Ingredients : 


                         1. 400 gm Parwal(pointed gourd)


                         2. 2 chopped onions

                         3. paste of 2 tomatoes

                         4. 1 tablespoon grated ginger

                         5. 1 tablespoon garlic paste

                         6. 1 bayleaf,some whole garam masala,3-4 raisin

                         7. 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

                         8. 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

                        10. 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder

                        11. 1 teaspoon kashmiri red chilli powder

                        12. 1 teaspoon cumin powder

                        13. 1 teaspoon coriander powder

                        14. 1 dry red chilli

                        15. 2-3 slit green chillies
                        16. 25 gm paste of poppy seeds

                        17. 25 gm paste of cashew nuts

                        18. 3 tablespoon curd

                        19. some Kasuri Methi
                        20. 1/2 teaspoon Sugar(optional)
                        21. Salt to taste
Method :
Fry all the parwal till golden & tender on hot oil.You can cover the lid during frying.Take them out from the pan & keep aside.Now give,bayleaf,red chilli,whole garam masala,raisin,cumin seeds and stir it for few seconds.Then add onion & fry it golden then add ginger & garlic and mix it for 2-3 minutes.Now give tomato paste,green chillies & mix it for another 2-3 minutes.Give all the powdered masala including sugar into it.Stir well for 2 minutes.Add poppy seeds paste and mix it with masala for 2-3 minutes.Give cashew nuts paste and cook it for 2 minutes.Now add yogurt & immediately stur well.Spread kasuri methi on the masala.Add 1 glass of water.After boiling the water add salt to taste.Now give all the fried parwal & cook it for 8-10 minutes on medium flame.You can cover the lid.Open it & add garam masala into it.
Here our super tasty & easy Dahi Parwal is ready to be served with roti,paratha or chawal….
