Ingredients :

                         1. 500 gm Parwal(Parble)

                         2. 2 Dry Red Chillies

                         3. 4 Green Cardamom

                        4. 1 Cinnamon Stick

                        5. 3 Cloves

                        6. 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds

                        7. Paste of 2 Onions

                        8. 2 tablespoon Ginger-Garlic Paste

                        9. 1/2 teaspoon Coriander Powder

                       10. 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder

                       11. 1/2 teaspoon Cumin Powder

                       12. 1/2 teaspoon Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder

                       13. 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala Powder

                       14. 3 Green Chillies

                       15. Paste of 2 Tomatoes

                       16. 2 tablespoon Cashew Nuts Paste

                       17. 2 tablespoon Poppy Seeds Paste

                       18. Salt to taste

                       19. Kasuri Methi

                       20. 2 tablespoon Mustard Oil

                       21. 1 tablespoon Ghee

 

: Method :

 

                       * At first partly peel off the parwals and slit them partly with the help of a knife. Then mix the parwals with some salt and turmeric powder. Now take some mustard oil in a pan and cook all the parwals till it’s golden. Now keeping 2 tablespoon oil and adding some ghee put dry red chillies, cumin seeds and whole garam masala and saute for few seconds.
                       * Now add the paste of onion and ginger-garlic paste and saute them well for 3-4 minutes on high flame.After that add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, kashmiri red chilli powder, garam masala powder and green chillies together and saute all the things for 2 more minutes. Now add the tomato paste in the masala and add the salt to taste and mix it well. Then add cashew nuts paste and poppy seeds paste together and mix the gravy. You can notice the gravy changing its colour.Then add a little water and then the fried parwals.Mix the parwals well with the gravy.
                       * Now add 1/2 cup water, mix it and cook on medium flame by covering the pan for 5-6 minutes.Then when the dish is almost ready add some kasuri methi for a nice earthy flavour. Give a proper mix and its ready.

                       Here our  Delicious & Spicy Parwal Ka Korma is ready to be served hot with roti, chapathi, paratha or rice.
