Ingredients :

                               1. 1 Cup Dry Black Chana

                               2. 1 Potato

                               3. 1/4 tsp Baking Soda

                               4.1/2 tsp Jeera

                               5. 1/3 tsp Hing

                               6. 1/2 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder

                               7. 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder

                               8. 1/2 tsp Amchur Powder

                               9. 1 tsp Dry Roasted Jeera & Dhania

                             10. 1/3 tsp Garam Masala Powder

                             11. 1 tsp Lemon Juice

                             12. 1/2 tsp Chaat Masala

13. Coriander Leaves

                             14. Salt to Taste

                             15. Black Salt

16. 1 tbsp Oil

17. 3-4 Fried Green Chillies


 : Method :

At first soak the dry black chana overnight. Now we shall boil it. Take a pressure cooker and put the chanas. Take a potato with it. Now add baking soda to boil them perfectly. After two whistles when the chanas and potato is boiled take them out and strain the water. Cut the potato into medium dices.

Now take oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, hing and
turmeric powder and kashmiri red chilli powder and saute all of them for a while. After a while add dry mango powder and dry roasted jeera & dhania and saute again. After a while add the diced potatoes in it and mix well with the masala. Now add boiled black chanas and mix with masala and potatoes. After a good mix add salt to taste, a little black salt and garam masala powder and cook for a while by covering the pan. After cooking for few minutes add lemon juice for a little tangy flavour, chaat masala and coriander leaves on it to finish it off. Now take it out on a platter and serve it with 3-4 fried green chillies.

 Here, our Chatpata & Spicy Dry Black Chana Masala is ready. Take a spoonful of it and take a bite of the fried green chilli. Isn’t it fun !!.. Try it now.
