Spicy Hari Mirch Fry-Green Chilli Fry Recipe

Green Chilli or Hari Mirch is a must have for almost every dish that we love. But today I have prepared this Green Chilli in such a unique way that you will never forget its taste. You’ll surely love some Spicy Green Chilli Fry coated in masala !! This is very easy to make and goes perfectly well with any dish of your choice(like pickle) and actually makes the main dish taste way better. You can store/refrigerate this dish for months. Ingredients :

                        1. 150 gm. Green Chilli(Hari Mirch)

                        2. 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds

                        3. 1/2 tsp Coriander Seeds

                        4. 1/3 tsp Fennel Seeds

                        5. 1/4 tsp Asafoetida(Hing)

                        6. 1/2 tsp Grated Ginger

                        7. 1 tbsp Besan(Gram Flour)

                        8. 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder

                        9. 1/2 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder

                       10. Salt to taste

                       11. 1 tsp Lemon Juice

                       12. 1/4 tsp Chaat Masala

                       13. Chopped Coriander Leaves

                       14. 2 tbsp Mustard Oil

 

                                                                                      : Method :

 *  At first slit all the Green Chillies from middle. We shall take slightly bigger green chillies. Now take mustard oil in a pan and heat the oil properly and put all the slit chillies to fry. Cover the pan for a minute to let it fry on medium flame. Now dry roast cumin seeds, coriander seeds and fennel seeds in a separate frying pan and grind it in mixer for later use.

   * After a minute when the chillies are slightly fried add asafoetida and grated ginger on the oil and fry for another minute. The combination of green chilli and ginger is too beautiful. Then add besan(gram flour). Besan strengthens the chemistry between green chilli and all the masalas. Saute it a bit and then add turmeric powder, kashmiri red chilli powder , dry roasted powder and salt to taste. Mix all the things together and cover the pan for one minute on medium flame.

   * After a minute open the lid and add chopped coriander leaves, lemon juice and chaat masala for that extra tangy and spiciness. Mix them together and our sizzling hot recipe is ready.
