1. 500 gm. Diced Boiled Potatoes
2. 1 tsp Special Dry roasted Masala
3. 1/2 tsp Jeera
4.1/3 tsp Hing
5. 2 Chopped Green Chillies
6. 1/3 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
7. 1/3 tsp Black Pepper Powder
8. 1/3 tsp Chaat Masala
9. 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
10. Coriander Leaves
11. Salt to Taste
12. 1 tbsp Oil
: Method :
At first cut all the boiled potatoes in medium size dices. Now we shall dry roast some masalas in a pan. Take jeera, dhania, whole ground spices and one dry red chilli and dry roast all of them for a while. Don’t burn them. Now grind the roasted masalas in a grinder to make a special masala which we shall use later in the recipe.
Now take oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, hing and
green chillies & saute for a while. Then add the diced potatoes in it and mix well with the masala. Now add the special dry roasted masala in it mix well with the potatoes. After a while add kashmiri red chilli powder , black pepper powder and salt to taste and mix again. After mixing for a while to make the dish more spicy add chaat masala, lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves. Give a good mix and the super tasty Jeera Aloo is ready in no time.
