KADAI PANEER -DHABA STYLE

Ingredients : – 
                        1. 200 gm paneer (cube sized)
                        2. 150 gm fresh green peas (matar)
                        3. 2 sliced roughly chopped tomatoes
                        4. 2 medium sized roughly chopped onions
                       5. 2 slit green chillies
                       6. 2 inches roughly chopped ginger
                      7. 2 slit green chillies
                      8. 8-10 cashew nuts
                      9. some fresh coriander leaves
                     10. 1 tablespoon yogurt
                    11. 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
                    12. 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
                    13. some whole garam masala
                    14. 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
                    15. 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
                    16. 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
                    17. 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
                    18. 1 teaspoon kashmiri red chilli powder
                    19. 1 teaspoon butter (optional) 
                    20. some dried fenugreek leaves
                    21. salt to taste
                    22. 4 tablespoon mustard oil
                    23. 1 cup of water

 

 

Method :

              Step 1 : Heat the oil properly and give onion,garlic,ginger pieces & saute them for 2-3 minutes.Add tomato & cashew again mix them for a minute.Turn off the flame & make a thick sauce of the masalas.Don’t add water in it.

 

               Step 2 : Heat the oil properly and give cumin seeds,fennel seeds,garam masala in the hot oil and mix it.Add turmeric & red chilli powder & mix it.Add the paste,green chillies and cumin & coriander powder and stir it for 1 minute .Cover it with a lid for 2-3 minutes.

             Step 3 : Open the lid after mixing it add peas & cook it for 2-3 minutes on medium flame.Add curd in it & mix it.Stir it for another minute.Give water in the mixture,add salt to taste.Cover it for 3-4 minutes.

             Step 4 : Open it again,now add paneer & mix it well.Now Spread dry fenugreek leaves & coriander leaves in the gravy and mix it.At the last part give little butter & mix well.Here our ready easy and perfect Matar Paneer ki sabji .Serve it hot with kulcha ,paratha or jeera rice…Enjoy your dinner….🌝
