1. 3/4 Cup Sugar
2. 3/4 Cup Water
3. Little Orange Food Colour
4. 3-4 tbsp Ghee
5. 250 gm. Milk Powder
6. 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
7. Grated Pista


At first we will make the sugar syrup. Take sugar in a pan and add same amount of water in it. Now let it boil and make sugar syrup of light consistency. Then add little orange food colour in the syrup and mix well. Take another pan and put ghee in it. Don’t switch on the gas. Then add milk powder in it. Now lit up the gas. Milk powder tends to heat up very quickly. Now mix the milk powder with the ghee very lightly on low flame. After few seconds add the milk powder in the sugar syrup. Mix and stir the milk powder with the syrup continuously. Stir it till the mixture gets smooth and fine. After few seconds add home made cardamom powder in the mixture and mix well. In few seconds take out the mixture on a platter.

Now grease the upper surface of the mixture with ghee and set it even with the help of a spatula. Now grate some pista over it and set it too. Now put it in a refrigerator for some time. After that take it out from the refigerator and cut the mixture with a knife in the shape of burfi. You can keep the shape and size of the burfi as you wish.
