Method : Dough Preparation :
1. Add all the ingredients in the maida and mix it properly for 10 minutes along with little water once in a while.Knead it into a slightly stiff dough. Make sure the dough should not be too stiff or too soft .
Namak Pare Preparation : 2. Take a generous portion of dough and roll it into round shape & flatten the dough like normal chapathi. Now roll the chapathi in a thin shape. Now flatten the roll a bit and roll it again. Now we shall flatten the roll again into a roti like round. When the round is done we shall roll it for the final time(Watch the video for better understanding). Now we shall cut medium pieces of namak pare from the roll with the help of a knife. You’ll see multiple layers formed inside all the pieces. Namak Pare Fry :
3. Turn on the gas and take oil in a pan. Heat the oil for a while. We won’t heat it much. Now fry all the namak pare till they are golden.Fry with patience. When all the namak pares are fried properly take them out from the pan on a serving platter.
Here our crispy nimki or namak pare with a different shape is ready to be served with hot tea or coffee. Enjoy the dish this festive season.
