Ingredients: 1. 6 Boiled Potatoes 2. Ground Peanuts 3. 1/4 tsp Black Pepper Powder 4. 2 Chopped Green Chillies 5. 1/3 tsp Cardamom Powder 6. Rock Salt(Sendha Namak) 7. 1 tsp Grated Ginger 8. 1/2 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder 9. Coriander Leaves 10. 1 tbsp Rajgira Atta 11. Little Refined Oil 12. Curd 13. Little Water
At first boil 6 medium sized potatoes and peel them off. Now mash them with your hands. Don’t grate the boiled potatoes. Now add some roasted and ground peanuts, black pepper powder, green chillies, cardamom powder for flavour, rock salt(commonly used in Vrat) to taste, some grated ginger, roasted cumin powder, coriander leaves and lasyly some Rajgira Atta(Upwas Ka Atta) as a binder. Mix all the things together and make a tight dough.
Now we shall make tikkis from that dough. Take some portions in hand and press and give shape of tikki and adjust the sides of them. I have made 9 tikkis from the entire dough. You can alter the size and shape of the tikkis according to your wish.
Now heat little oil in a pan. Because we are going to shallow fry the tikkis. Shallow fry the tikkis golden & crispy from both the sides. When all the tikkis are fried place them on a platter and pour some sour curd, some coriander chutney, some black pepper powder, cumin powder and some rock salt.
Here our super tasty Phalahari Aloo Tikki Chaat is ready.
