1. 1 Litre Full Fat Milk
2. 100 gm. Kali Jeera Rice/Gobindobhog Rice
3. 3 Bay Leaves
4. 200 gm. Sugar
5. Cashew Nuts+Raisins(25 gm. each)
6. Crushed Cardamom
At first put 1 litre of full fat milk in a large pan for boiling. On the other hand soak 100 gm. of Gobindobhog Rice/ Kali Jeera Rice in water for a while. Reduce the milk to almost half in quantity in the course of boiling. When done add bay leaves and the soaked rice and let it cook till the rice softens. After a while check the rice if it is boiled. At that time add sugar and mix well. Take sugar as per your choice. After a few minutes add cashew nuts and raisins in the milk. This will add extra taste to the kheer. Cook the kheer till it reaches the perfect consistency. In the end add little crushed cardamom powder for an amazing aroma. When done serve it on a bowl and garnish it some more chopped dry fruits.
