Sevai Ki Kheer Recipe Ramzan Special-How To Make Seviyan Kheer

 

Hello friends, today I am sharing with you a very tasty and savouring Vermicelli(Sevai) Kheer. Ingredients :

                         1. One Cup Raw Vermicelli(200 gm)

                         2. 1 litre Milk

                         3. 1/2 Cup Sugar(200 gm)

                         4. 5-6 Crushed Cardamom

                         5. 3 Bay Leaves

                         6. 1/4 tspn Salt

                         7. 25 gm Cashew Nuts

                         8. Some Chopped Almonds

                         9. 25 gm Raisins(Kishmish)

                       10. 2 tblspn Ghee

 

 

: Method :

                       * At first take Ghee in a heated pan and keep Milk to boil on a separate burner. Now fry Cashew Nuts, Chopped Almonds & Raisins in the ghee till they are slightly golden. When it is done take out the dry fruits and put Bay Leaves in the same ghee and stir a bit.

                       * On the other hand when the Milk is boiled  & thickened little turn off the gas. Now add the Raw Vermicelli(Sevai) with the Bay Leaves and roast it until it turns golden. When the Vermicelli is finely roasted add the boiled Milk time and again in small quantity and give it a good mix. Keep stirring the kheer in medium flame so that it doesn’t burn.

                       * After 4-5 minutes,add Sugar in it and keep stirring to dissolve the sugar.After a minute when the mixture thickens a bit add a little Salt to keep a good balance of taste in this sweet dish.

                       * Now take Cardamom  and crush them to make it powder and mix it well with the kheer and stir for one minute. Then add the fried dry fruits into the kheer and give a good mix. After one minute when the kheer reaches its proper consistency serve it hot in a serving bowl and enjoy its amazing taste.I have garnished the kheer with some saffron strands to make it more special.
