1. Mustard Oil
2. Cauliflower Florets
3. One Sliced Potato
4. 2 Bay Leaves
5. 1 Dry Red Chilli
6. 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
7. 3-4 Raisins+Whole Spices+4-5 Black Pepper Seeds
8. 1 Chopped Onion
9. Onion-Ginger-Garlic-Green Chilli Paste
10. 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
11. 1/2 tsp Hing
12. Puree of 2 Tomatoes
13. 1 tbsp Besan
14. 1 tsp Coriander Powder
15. 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
16. 1/2 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
17. 2 tbsp Curd
18. Water as Required
19. 2 Slit Green Chillies
20. Salt to Taste
21. 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
22. Chopped Coriander Leaves


At first fry the cauliflower florets and sliced potatoes in mustard oil till they are golden. Then in the same oil put bay leaves, dry red chilli, cumin seeds and whole spices with some raisins and saute for a while. Then add chopped onion and fry till they are translucent. After that add onion-garlic-green chilli paste along with some turmeric powder and hing. Cook the gravy for a while. After that add tomato puree and little water and let the gravy cook for some minute by covering the pan.

After few minutes add besan and all the powdered masalas and mix with the gravy. Then add 1/2 cup of water to adjust the temperature of the gravy. Because now we are going to add curd. After adding curd mix it on low flame. Then add 1 cup of water and also slit green chillies and salt to taste. Then leave it to cook for a while. Now put all the fried cauliflower and potatoes in the gravy and let it cook till the gravy thickens a bit. In the end add garam masala powder and chopped coriander leaves to finish it off.
