Tasty & Spicy Poha in 10 Minutes | Bazaar Jaisa Masaledar Poha Recipe

Hello Friends…today I am sharing with you a very tasty and easy to make Nasta or Breakfast Recipe…Poha is very popular among us as a breakfast. But when it is prepared in market style it becomes special. Here I have prepared this simple recipe in a different way in just 10 minutes making it spicier & tastier. Ingredients :

1. Poha(Flattened Rice)- 400 gm.
2. 3 Bay Leaves
3. 1 tblspn Cumin Seeds(Jeera)
4. 2 Chopped Onions
5. Some Peanuts(Badam)
6. 4 Chopped Green Chillis
7. 1/2 teaspoon Grated Ginger
8. 2 Boiled Potatoes
9.1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
10. 1/2 teaspoon Dry Roasted Masala
11. Chopped Coriander Leaves
12. Sev
13. 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
14. Salt to taste
15. 2 tablespoon Refined Oil

 

 

METHOD 

 

Step 1 : At first wash the Poha well in running water and then keep in on a strainer for 15 minutes so that all the water goes out. Now take 2 tablespoon of oil in a pan and put bay leaves and cumin seeds in it and saute for a while. Then add chopped onions in it and fry till it changes colour. Then add some peanuts(badam) and fry it with the onion for 2 more minutes.

Step 2 : After 2 minutes add grated ginger and chopped green chillies and saute well. You can add or reduce green chillies according to your wish.Now add boiled potatoes, turmeric powder and salt to taste and saute for a minute. Then we will add sugar in it as this Poha is spicy as well as a little sweet. Then add the special dry roasted masala to bring that amazing spicy flavour in the recipe.

 Step 3 : When all the things are sauted well add some chopped coriander leaves and then add the Poha(flattened rice) in small quantities.Don’t add all the Poha at a time as it may cause difficulties in cooking. Adding the poha mix it well with the masalas. Then again add some chopped coriander leaves and some sev to bring some extra taste. At last add some lemon juice to bring a slight tangy flavour and give a proper mix.
